Jinco Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. is a sino-foreign joint venture established by Canadian Inco Corporation and Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. in Kunshan Economic and Technical Development Zone of Jiangsu Province in January 1995, specialized in manufacturing high-quality Incomond® brand nickel sulphate and nickel chloride. The advanced and mature technique of Inco is used for production process; the raw materials of nickel used in production process are the high-purity carbonyl nickel pellets or nickel powder provided by Inco ; the complete production equipment were imported from Europe and the most advanced distributed control system(DCS) at that time was introduced from EUROTHERM Company in England.
Over the years, Jinco Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. has always been operating in accordance with the advanced international management mode of Inco Corporation, attaching great importance to quality, environmental protection, safety and occupational health management and adhering to the strategy of sustainable development. The company has successfully passed ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 management system and RoHS certified by SGS Company, and was the first to pass the audit of work safety standardization and cleaner production enterprise in Kunshan City.
After wholly owning Canadian Inco Corporation through acquisition in 2006, Brazilian Vale Corporation transferred its equity of Jinco to Jinchuan (USA) Holding Co., Ltd. due to the strategy adjustment in 2009. At present, Jinco Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Sino-foreign joint venture under Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd. After the equity transferring, the operation mechanism and system, production process, the supply of raw material of high-purity nickel and the high-quality staff of Jinco are kept unchanged, and the production and sales of high-quality Incomond® brand nickel sulphate and nickel chloride have been continued.
